Buoy Installation Date Changed...

On May 19th, 2009, the City of Omro agreed to change the date buoys are installed in the river from April 15th to May 1st. The Fox River Runners requested the change because unpredictable spring weather and high, cold water often created dangerous conditions for maneuvering and placing buoys.

The Fox River Runners Boat Club annually installs, removes, maintains and purchases no-wake and navigation buoys as a public service to the city and residents of Omro and area boaters. Buoys are placed from Eureka to Lake Butte des Morts.

Proceeds support our efforts to re-open the Eureka locks and help the club maintain the navigation buoys from Eureka to Lake Butte des Morts.

Watch here for event information and schedules. Contact any of our members for more information.

Donations allow us to continue our preservation and maintenance activities on the Fox River. To donate, download and complete the donation form and return it with your donation.
